What does it mean to remember when history does not stand still? What does it mean to belong (“heimaten”) when a sense of belonging is not something to possess but a movement?

On the stage of Schauspielhaus Wien, artists confronted with social upheaval and questions of plural memory and justice in the diaspora come together. Their experiences speak of activism, protests, decolonization, and resilience, as well as of the power(lessness) of not being on site. They show how art creates spaces of resonance across distances and makes solidarity tangible.

The event is not a platform for ready-made answers, but a place where fragments collide and perspectives rub together so that new futures are revealed in dialogue.
