How can Heimat (home/homeland) be reimagined when the meaning of belonging is constantly being renegotiated? In the anniversary edition of its zine, the zwischentext collective is tackling the overarching theme of heimat/home 2.0. A polyphonic theatrical reading inspired by the magazine’s contents will be staged that combines personal texts, collective writing, and performative elements.
Voices from the publication will meet in dialogue, contradict and complement one another, and weave together to create a shared narrative space. What results is a literary and performative evening that addresses Heimat from a post-migrant perspective and interrogates how belonging, language, and memory can be conceived, narrated, and lived in plural.
